It is only 4 inches high and yet produces powerful sound. The price is reasonable as well. The only known issue with this unit is the poor quality of FM/AM radio reception. But it depends on where you install the unit.

This CD player is probably the least expensive one out there. For the price, it has OK sound and OK features. Insignia's under cabinet CD player can handle CD, CD-R, CD-RW formats.

It isn't fair to compare this unit to other CD players above because it comes with a DVD player, but because this is a popular product, I want to give you an idea what you need to know before you purchase this product. It is not a bad product, but it does have few techical glitches with the DVD player. Also installing the unit may require extra handy work on your part and running to a hardware store because it comes with very short screws which are useless.
These are only a handful of under cabinet CD players out there. I personally recommend that you purchase a SONY product. They design and make the most user-friendly radios which comes from decades of experience.
